Constituency Youth Council 2020-2021: An opportunity to have your voice heard on issues facing Canada

Giving youth a voice is vital to our democracy. A youth perspective brings a new light to the issues before Parliament.

I am pleased to invite youth from Lac-Saint-Louis between the ages of 16-25 to apply to the 2020-21 edition of my M.P. Constituency Youth Council.

What is the Constituency Youth Council?

The Constituency Youth Council is an opportunity for engaged youth to learn about Canada’s political process, provide their viewpoints on issues, and get involved in our community.

When does the program take place?

The Lac-Saint-Louis Constituency Youth Council will meet regularly, every five or six weeks, for a 12-month period beginning in September 2020. While Youth Council meetings are normally held in my constituency office, in light of COVID-19 meetings will for the time being take place on Zoom.

How you can apply?

To apply, complete and submit an application form which is available at:

https://forms.gle/ogq4CQLYGBTMCbAX6.

The deadline to apply is September 17, 2020.

I look forward to hearing from youth interested in learning more about Canadian politics and providing their input to me as a federal representative.
